BIS Updates On Standard Amendment For Various Standards
OVERVIEW
The Bureau of Indian Standards has released a notification on establishing a new standard and withdrawing an existing related standard.
As per this notification, the Bureau of Indian Standards notifies that the following Indian standards were established on 19th Dec 2022. The particulars of the standards, if any, listed in the fourth column shall remain in effect simultaneously until they are withdrawn on the date listed in the fifth column. This order was issued through a gazette notification dated December 20, 2022.
In consultation with BIS, the concerned ministry issues QCO for various products to ensure standard compliance and the mandatory use of standard marks.
