Important update regarding the withdrawal of Indian Standards and valid for the Indian Market.
BIS Updates on withdrawal of Indian Standards
OVERVIEW
The Bureau of Indian Standards (Department of Consumer Affairs) has released a notification on implantation and withdrawal of Indian Standards.
As per this notification 13th February 2023, Indian Standards have been cancelled and stand withdrawn as of the date indicated against them in the third column, the Bureau of Indian Standards hereby notifies. Details of the Indian Standards are provided in the schedule hereto annexed.
As per the notification, all the standards mentioned in the QCO are withdrawn from February 10, 2023 according to Bureau of Indian Standards.
NOTE: This order is not applicable to the products or articles which are meant for export. Any person who violates the provisions of this order will be punished in accordance with the provisions of the BIS Act, 2018.
