Important update regarding the Establishment/Withdrawal of Indian Standards and valid for the Indian Market.
BIS Notification on Establishment/Withdrawal of Indian Standards Gazette notification date 22-March-2023
OVERVIEW
The Bureau of Indian Standards (Department of Consumer Affairs) has released a notification on new implantation and withdrawal of previous Indian Standards.
According to this notification of 22nd March 2023, IS 5464 : 2023 Citric Acid, Monohydrate —Specification (Second Revision) and IS 18187 : 2023 Rubber, Raw Natural and Raw Synthetic — General Guidance on Storage have come under the new establishment in the year 2023 and both are in effect from 20 March 2023, however, IS 5464 : 2023 will go under withdrawal since April 2023.
Date of withdrawal for IS 5464 : 1995 is April 20, 2023 according to Bureau of Indian Standards notification.
