Packing and Marking:

Packing and marking must be done in accordance with the standard. The Standard Mark (ISI Mark) shall be printed on each container and on the label applied to the container, provided that the material in each container on which this Mark is thus applied satisfies all of the specification's requirements. The Manufacturer must obtain a BIS license from the Bureau of Indian Standards to use a standard mark (ISI Mark). The BIS grants a license based on a successful assessment of manufacturing infrastructure, quality control, testing capabilities, and production process.
