Packing and Marking:

Packing and Marking shall be done in accordance with IS 5158:1987. The Standard mark (ISI Mark) shall be marked on each container of phthalic anhydride; technical provided that the product contained in each container on which this mark is applied meets all of the specification's requirements.

Each container must be labelled with the information as specified in the standard. The Manufacturer must obtain a BIS license from the Bureau of Indian Standards to use a standard mark (ISI Mark). The BIS grants a license based on a successful assessment of manufacturing infrastructure, quality control, testing capabilities, and production process.
