BIS Certification For Switch-socket-outlets (non-interlock type) IS 15787:2008

isi product

BIS certification is mandatory for Switch-Socket-Outlet (Non-Interlock Type) as per BIS IS 15787:2008. These outlets are electrical devices that combine a switch and a socket without any interlocking mechanism. Switches let you turn devices on or off by controlling the flow of electrical current, while sockets provide a place to plug devices. The outlet is where devices draw power.

These devices seamlessly combine the switch and socket-outlet into a single unit, making it easy for users to manage electrical power to connected devices using built-in switches.

Additionally, they also provide socket-outlets to plug other electrical appliances or equipment. The term "non-interlock type" means that there is no interlocking feature, so the switch and socket-outlet functions operate separately within the same unit. These switch-socket-outlets are typically installed in walls or electrical panels and are versatile enough to be used in a variety of settings. They provide a convenient solution for both controlling power and connecting devices.
