BIS Certification for Cattle Feed as per IS 2052:2009
The Bureau of Indian Standards recently issued a BIS Licence for Cattle feeds as per IS 2052:2009. One of our clients, M/s Darbar Feed Mills, has received a BIS licence for Cattle Feeds. IS 2052:2009 covers cattle feed. This standard specifies the requirements for compounded cattle feeds for buffaloes, cattle, and working bullocks, as well as the sampling and testing methods. To obtain a BIS certificate for cattle feed, the manufacturer must ensure that the products meet Indian standards. All manufacturers must obtain a BIS licence from the Bureau of Indian Standards in order to sell their products in the Indian market and use a standard ISI mark.
During a visit to its manufacturing facilities, the Bureau grants a BIS licence based on a successful assessment of the manufacturing infrastructure, production process, quality control, and testing capabilities.
