OVERVIEW
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has introduced the "Resin Treated Compressed Wood Laminates (Quality Control) Order, 2023," scheduled to be effective six months from the date of notification.

Goods or articles falling under the category of Resin Treated Compressed Wood Laminates must adhere to the specified Indian Standard 3513 (Part 3):1989 (Resin Treated Compressed Wood Laminates (compregs) - For general purposes). These products are required to bear the Standard Mark, obtainable through a license from the Bureau under Scheme-I of Schedule-II of the Bureau of Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018.
