Bureau of Indian standard has recently issued an All-India First Licence for “Linear Alkyl Benzene” in accordance with IS 12795:2020. BIS has also issued a circular regarding the first license for information to all concerned.
M/s Tamilnadu Petroproducts Limited, Tamil Nadu, has received an all-India first license from BIS for "Linear Alkyl Benzene” as per IS 12795:2020.
IS 12795:2020 specifies the requirements, sampling methods, and test methods for linear alkyl benzene. All Manufacturers must obtain a BIS license from the Bureau of Indian Standards to use a standard mark as per IS 12795:2020. The Bureau grants a license based on a successful assessment of manufacturing infrastructure, production process, quality control, and testing capabilities during a visit to its manufacturing premises.
