Important update regarding Standard Amendments applicable to all existing Licence holders/New applicants/manufacturers/importers/product sellers for the product “Medical Textiles – Nonwoven Wipes & Medical Textiles – Nonwoven Fabric for Wipes” valid for the Indian market.
BIS Notification For Standard Amendment of “Medical Textiles – Nonwoven Wipes IS 17787:2021 & Medical Textiles – Nonwoven Fabric for Wipes IS 17788:2021”.
OVERVIEW
Standard Amendment Notification, 2021 issued for goods/articles Medical Textiles – Nonwoven Wipes & Medical Textiles – Nonwoven Fabric for Wipes, through a Gazette Notification dated 23-Dec-2021.
The Bureau of Indian Standards (Department of Consumer Affairs) in India has come up with the latest Standard Amendment for products “Medical Textiles – Nonwoven Wipes IS 17787:2021 & Medical Textiles – Nonwoven Fabric for Wipes IS 17788:2021”. The Bureau of Indian Standards hereby notifies that Indian standards, the details of which are given in the First column of the schedule hereto annexed, were established on the date indicated against it in the second column, in accordance with Sub-rule (1) of Rule (15) of the Bureau of Indian Standards Rules, 2018.
Nonwoven wipes and nonwoven fabric wipes both are fully convenient to use for the anti-bacterial purpose.
BIS has published two new Standards, which were established on 23rd December 2021. These standards will remain in force till they are withdrawn.
