First License for Textile Polyester Continuous Filament Fully Drawn Yarn

BIS recently issued an All-India First Licence for " Textiles-Polyester Continuous Filament Fully Drawn Yarn” in accordance with IS 17261:2019. BIS has also issued a circular regarding the first license for information to all concerned.

Our client, M/s Bhilosa Industries Private Limited, Silvassa, has received an all-India first license from BIS for “Textiles-Polyester Continuous Filament Fully Drawn Yarn” as per IS 17261:2019.

IS 17261:2019 covers “Textiles-Polyester Continuous Filament Fully Drawn Yarn”. This standard specifies requirements for all types of virgin and recycled polyester continuous single multifilament or monofilament flat fully drawn yarns (FDY) for various end usages.

All Manufacturers must obtain a BIS license from the Bureau of Indian Standards to use a standard mark. The Bureau grants a license based on a successful assessment of manufacturing infrastructure, production process, quality control, and testing capabilities during a visit to its manufacturing premises.
