Update: List of PIBOs Identified Under Latest EPR Compliance Notification
The latest notification released by the concerned authorities has published an extensive list of
Producers, Importers, and Brand Owners (PIBOs) who are required to comply with Extended
Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations under the Plastic Waste Management Rules.
This notification includes 1,100+ companies from across India, covering sectors such as FMCG,
pharmaceuticals, electronics, food & beverages, packaging, consumer goods, and more.
The document lists each entity along with its applicant type (Brand Owner, Producer, or
Importer) and the state of their registered address.
Purpose of the Notification
The notification aims to:
- Ensure transparency in identifying PIBOs registered or recognized under EPR.
