1.1 This standard covers the requirements of plain galvanized steel sheets and strips (coils) and corrugated galvanized sheets. 1.2 Galvanized steel sheets covered by this standard are intended to be used for purposes such as paneling, roofing, applications requiring lock forming, etc. 1.3 Requirements of gal annealed and electrogalvanized steels are not covered in this standard. 1.4 The requirements of zinc and zinc alloy coated steel sheets for automotive and engineering applications are being covered in a separate standard which is under development. |
