We are pleased to introduce our client, "KVS EXIM India Private Limited," to whom we have provided the service of achieving BIS license under IS 17012:2018.
KVS EXIM India Pvt Ltd. is a safety shoe manufacturer and exporter. They specialize in the production of safety shoes, military boots, and safety shoe uppers. Keeping this in mind, quality standards and processes are being revamped to incorporate the most up-to-date methods to ensure an international level of quality. The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has granted a license to “KVS EXIM India Private Limited” for High Ankle Tactical Boots with PU - Rubber Sole in accordance with Indian Standard (IS) 17012:2018. This license became effective on July 8, 2021, for a one-year period ending on July 7, 2022.
PROCEDURE TO GET BIS CERTIFICATION ON "FOOTWEAR"
If you want to sell or import the footwear, then your footwear should be ISI marked. BIS certification procedure is a bit complicated, and testing requires sophisticated test equipment, and the laboratory should be as per BIS norms. These are the hurdles that stop your product from getting Certified.

PURPOSE OF BIS LICENCE
According to the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade's (DPIIT) Quality control order on footwear products, High Ankle Tactical Boots with PU - Rubber Sole have been brought under mandatory BIS Certification while keeping public health and safety in mind.
BIS Certification provides a third-party guarantee of product quality, safety, and assurance to customers. Rubber Sole must meet the specified standard and have the standard mark license obtained from BIS. Rubber sole without the BIS Mark cannot be sold or traded, produced, stocked, and imported.
