IS 210: 2009
IS 210:2009, established by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) under the directions of DPIIT, comprehensively outlines the conditions required for grey iron casting. It features seven grades—FG 150, FG 200, FG 220, FG 260, FG 300, FG 350, and FG 400. Effective February 23, 2024, manufacturers, whether domestic or international, will all be required to obtain BIS certification for grey iron castings.
