Packing and marking

Packing and marking shall be done as per IS 10931:1984. The material must be delivered in appropriate containers, as agreed upon between the purchaser and the supplier. The containers must be securely closed and marked with the name and grade of material, net mass, batch number or lot number, month and year of manufacture, and the manufacturer's name and trade mark. The container may also be marked with a standard mark (ISI Mark).
