BIS CERTIFICATION FOR MORPHOLINE

In this competitive scenario, it isn't easy to survive in the market without a standard quality and certified product. BIS license may also be required to sell products in the Indian market.
To get BIS certification and produce a standard quality product, the manufacturer must ensure that their product must follow the specified Indian standard.
Let's take a closer look at IS 12084:2018 for Morpholine.
IS 12084:2018 covers Morpholine. This standard specifies the requirements and sampling and testing methods for morpholine used as a corrosion inhibitor in boiler waters.
Morpholine is a tetrahydro 1/4 oxazine, which is an aminoether. It is a solvent for various solid organic compounds, including resins, dyes, and waxes. It has an ammild base. It has the unusual property of remaining highly volatile in an aqueous solution and is used as a corrosion inhibitor in boiler waters.
The material must be a mobile liquid with an amine-like odour and be free of visible suspended matter. The material must not contain any free ammonia or materials that disintegrate into ammonia or other chemicals that are hazardous to boiler metals and piping. The material must also meet the requirements specified in this standard.

Test shall be carried out in accordance with the method prescribed.

Packing and Marking:
Packing and Marking shall be done in accordance with IS 12084:2018. The material must be packed in appropriate containers as agreed upon by the purchaser and the supplier. The Standard Mark (ISI Mark) shall be marked on the product's container provided that the material so marked meets all requirements of the specification.
Each container must be labelled with the information as specified in the standard. The Manufacturer must obtain a BIS license from the Bureau of Indian Standards to use a standard mark (ISI Mark). The BIS grants a license based on a successful assessment of manufacturing infrastructure, quality control, testing capabilities, and production process.
